Saltwater Exploratory And Hosted Trips

Frontiers constantly seek new and unusual destinations for our ever-more-adventurous clients and by its very nature this always involves some investigatory travel.

Generally, a staff member from one or both of our offices carries out this travel, but there are occasions when it is appropriate to invite clients to join us and give their opinion on a particular destination. This can be for two reasons. Firstly, it can be a real adventure and some of our clients love to be part of such an adventure and to be ‘the first’.  Secondly, when the operation we are looking at is more established, it is useful to have a full complement of fishermen to test the destination and its infrastructure.

These exploratories are usually offered at a discounted price but there is a clear reason for this, which needs to be fully understood. These trips are called ‘exploratories’ because they are not fully-fledged Frontiers-endorsed destinations and the likelihood is that no Frontiers staff member has been there. No matter how much research is carried out pre-departure there is no substitute for actually going there ourselves. Therefore, please note that with the discounted price all that interest and excitement comes at a risk.  Clients need to understand that due to the very nature of exploratory trips, Frontiers cannot be held responsible for arrangements or destinations.
