Introduction

At Frontiers we believe that your safety and enjoyment when travelling overseas with us is very important. It is therefore a condition of booking that you have a valid travel insurance to cover cancellation, medical emergencies and repatriation when travelling with us.

Due to changes in the law we are no longer able to sell travel insurance to you directly. For this reason, and because of the bespoke nature of a Frontiers trip in terms of remoteness, we can recommend the following schemes

Please ensure that you inform them of the full value of your holiday with all sections of the trip including all air reservations, which you may or may not be arranging through Frontiers. The cover includes a 24-Hour Worldwide emergency Medical Service who are experts in providing friendly and professional emergency help  

Our administration team will wish to confirm with you that you have taken out suitable insurance, prior to your departure. You will be asked to provide us with the name of your insurer, your policy number together with the 24 hour medical emergency assistance contact number.

Important: Travel insurance policies specifically exclude cover for certain defined Pre-existing Medical Conditions. If you are in any doubt at all, you are strongly recommended to contact the insurer’s medical screening helpline to establish if additional cover may be offered to cover existing medical conditions. Also, we strongly recommend that if your sporting/specialist equipment (such as rods, reels, guns, cameras etc) is not already fully insured that you consider insuring it through your household insurance and that you check that you have sufficient cover for its use worldwide.
