“The Salmon & Trout Association’s work is more important now than ever, and Frontiers Travel is proud to be a Supporter. Please make the difference and join!” - Tarquin Millington-Drake, Managing Director, Frontiers Travel Ltd
The Salmon & Trout Association is unique. It is the ONLY UK fisheries charity which campaigns politically for the management, protection and conservation of fish and the environments necessary for them to thrive. Other organisations promote anglers' rights on a single interest basis, or advise, conserve or carry out research. But S&TA is unashamedly a campaigning charity acting on behalf of fisheries.
We have never been more influential than we are at present over issues such as fish farming, water abstraction, diffuse pollution, hydropower, trout and salmon management - and many others.
But time is running out. Never have our waterways been under greater threat than they are now – and we desperately need your help! As we receive no government funding, we are totally reliant on donations and members’ subscriptions to fund this vital work. For less than the price of a day’s fishing, you can ensure that your concerns are voiced – and heard where it matters. That is why anglers and fisheries people should join S&TA as their first choice fisheries organisation - because S&TA will put their funding and support to the most effective use!

"When I was looking for a pristine river in the UK to feature in a television series I failed to find one. Wild fish and invertebrate populations, those ambassadors of the wild which provide a litmus test by which we can judge the health of the natural environment, have declined significantly over recent years. This is why I encourage you to support the excellent work of the Salmon and Trout Association in addressing the issues by becoming a member" Ray Mears
