Space is limited to just six couples and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your journey will begin upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport. You will spend the night at the Lake Duluti Serena Hotel before transferring to the Ngorongoro Crater. An English speaking safari driver/guide will accompany the group throughout the entire trip. Your safari driver/guide has specialized in wildlife identification and has completed over 300 safari trips with exceptional feedback from his guests. We discuss all vaccinations and visa requirements at the time of booking.
Elaine was born and raised in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania where she lived and worked until moving to the United States and joining The Frontiers Team in 2003. Elaine has an intimate knowledge of Tanzania, its people and customs. She maintains strong ties to her birthplace and looks forward to passing on her passion for Tanzania to you while on Safari. Elaine will be joined by her husband, Damien, who was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and spent 9 years in Tanzania as a bush pilot for the Flying Medical Service and a local air charter operator where he and Elaine met. Damien is very proficient about the Tanzanian bush country, its animals and culture.
Both Elaine and Damien speak Kiswahili and have traveled extensively around the country and its parks.
