Aniak River Lodge

Extraordinary diversity - all five salmon types, trout and everything in between

The Aniak sets up very well for every angler’s wishes. Variety is the key and Aniak has it in spades. The Kuskokwim River has one of the largest returns of kings and silvers in the state, and the majority of these fish head straight for the Aniak. Kings average 20 to 30 lbs, with some up to 50 lbs. In addition to all salmon species, fishing for leopard rainbow trout, dolly varden, char and grayling is as good as it gets anywhere and offers an option to salmon. The real treat here is the mousing. All season long, trout will explode on a mouse pattern. A new fixed lodge is now located mid rive
