A little over two weeks ago Hurricane Dorian ravaged the upper half of Abaco Island and the majority of Grand Bahama Island as a category five hurricane. The destruction left in its wake is extensive and unimaginable. The lives of Bahamians spared in its path are forever altered, and they will need any help we can provide now and for months and likely years to follow. If you’ve not yet donated to a relief effort and would like to make a tax-deductible contribution you can do so by clicking here.
The Delphi Club on Abaco Island spared any significant damage, and once commercial flights return to the Island, they will be open for business.
Fortunately, the majority of The Bahamas 700 Islands were not in Dorian’s path, and they are open for business. Andros Island included. Andros has some of the best bonefishing in the world and Frontiers represents a number of quality lodges there. We also have options on Long Island and contacts on Crooked Island and Acklins Islands too.
Availability at all lodges not impacted by Dorian is going to be more sought after this upcoming season than ever before. If you’re considering a Bahamas bonefishing trip and wish to avoid any disappointment, we strongly suggest you contact us as soon as possible. There are still some choice weeks for the Fall and Winter months available, but they won’t last long.
