The Chilean Fjords, part of the Dufflocq collection, are a vast area of coastal valleys with beautiful meandering rivers and forested mountains that plunge into a calm inland sea far from the open ocean. This fishing adventure gives anglers the opportunity to hook large brown and rainbow trout with an average size of nearly 22”; with larger fish caught every year. With a varied selection of more than 2 dozen fertile rivers to choose from accessible only by sea, anglers are as close to fishing "virgin" water as anyone will find on earth.
Rising and falling fjord tides trigger baitfish movement to make ‘bows and browns come alive and will have your reel singing. Accessed only by coast and zodiacs, these rivers are the most remote in Chile–hosting bulky resident and sea run trout in a lush costal biosphere.
The M/V Rio Azul is a 53-foot Hatteras yacht that has 2 spacious, climate-controlled double staterooms with private bathroom and hot showers. An outside deck and enclosed lounge affords great views of the surrounding natural beauty. Motored Zodiacs transport guests to and from rivers.

9-day trip length is typical (Friday–Sunday); Sunday-Saturday fishing program Hotel overnight in Puerto Chacabuco prior to fishing is necessary and included. No internet available on the boat; cell coverage is spotty. Extend your trip by visiting Chile’s wine country, the Torres del Paine or Atacama area, or wingshooting in Cordoba, Argentina.
