A new sea-trout fishing lodge on the Menendez River

Wuijoor Lodge is situated on Estancia Laura, a working farm in Tierra del Fuego, and is accessed through Rio Grande airport. This is a relatively new destination, the lodge is a renovated farm house and is ideal for small groups, with a maximum of six anglers per week. 

You will fish the Rio Menendez, a very productive tributary of the famous Rio Grande, and also have the options of fishing several other local rivers. We have secured a week at the beginning of March, which is the best time for the Menendez. Although it is a smallish river there are many pools over the miles of water and the sea-trout are regularly caught in the high teens and early 20lbs. 

This trip is ideal for the adventurous and for those who are prepared to fish technically for the reward of a 20lb sea trout! The accommodation is comfortable in large twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms, although singles are available for a supplement. The food is excellent as of course is the wine. 

2nd - 9th March 2025 - $4,300.00 per person per week based on sharing a room and guide.
