Trophy sea-trout fishing at an iconic lodge in stunning scenery

The 2024 season has now finished on the Rio Grande and our fishers who made the journey to Argentina to fish at Kau Tapen and Villa Maria had some amazing sport. Although the conditions were sometimes challenging, as is the way with fishing anywhere, the river was full of fish and plenty were landed, with our guests accounting for fish up to 25lbs. 

Frontiers have availability for prime weeks on both Kau Tapen and Villa Maria next season and we have expert knowledge from multiple visits to advise you on the best option for your week sea-trout fishing. However, as always, space is limited so please do not leave it too late to secure a spot in the week of your choice. 

Roddy Hall will also be hosting a week at Kau Tapen next season, 8-15th March. There are a few spaces left on this week, if you would like to join the group please let Roddy know. We have fished this week ourselves several times over the last few years and have had clients fish this period annually so know it can be one of the most productive weeks of the season. 

The season on the Rio Grande runs from early January to the end of March, with prices from $11,950 to $14,950 per person per week to include seven nights full board accommodation in a single room including excellent wines and drinks, and six days guided fishing with a guide shared between two.
