No Name Lodge

World-class tarpon fishing and tailing permit with domestic conveniences

No Name Fly Lodge is a Puerto Rican lodge primarily targeting tarpon and permit. This program consistently produces excellent opportunities to fish for less-pressured, hungry tarpon with experienced , English-speaking guides. Anglers love the number of shots they get at tarpon in the 20-70 lb range, as well as the opportunity for shots at tailing permit on the flats. The lodge is located in Boquerón, PR, a small town with colorful architecture and an exciting downtown to explore after days on the water.

Fishing

Fish from 17-ft Maverick skiffs equipped with all the gear you may need. Anglers typically enjoy catching 15-40 lb fish on gurglers in the morning and hunting larger cruising fish on classic tarpon patterns throughout the day. You can also choose to wade the flats for tailing permit.

Accommodation

Anglers will stay in comfortable double-occupancy rooms on the marina in Boquerón. Breakfast and coffee will be available each morning at the lodge, and lunches will be brought on the boat. Dinners are either cooked at the lodge or enjoyed out at one of the many local restaurants.

Gear

All fishing tackle can be provided by the lodge. For those bringing their own, pack 10-12 wt setups floating and intermediate lines for tarpon; 9-10 wt with floating lines for permit and other backcountry species. Wading boots are highly recommended for the permit flats due to coral.
