Salvelinus Outfitters, October 2018

Eastern Pyrenees

12th - 20th October 2018

Experience a week of trout fishing in Spain’s Eastern Pyrenees

This gorgeous and unspoiled alpine region is home to countless rivers, lakes and streams surrounded by the medieval charms of the Pyrenees Mountains. There are a wide variety of angling opportunities to be found in this prolific and relatively untouched area such as casting to rising brook trout in high mountain lakes, gorgeous Mediterranean zebra trout in pristine spring creeks and, rainbows and browns in the lower stretches and tailwaters. Combining the variety of available waters and relative lack of fishing pressure in this part of the world, this is a fly fishing purist’s dream.

Anglers will enjoy six full days fishing for trout. This incredible departure is also perfect for the non-fishing companion with fully-guided excursions into the region available daily. The evenings will be spent in comfortable village accommodations with great Spanish cuisine.

Trip Specifics

The most convenient way to get there is to fly to Barcelona. Plan to arrive the morning of October 13 via overnight flight from the States. The group will then transfer the 3.5 hour drive to Arén’s Lodgen. On the departure, most international flights will require an additional overnight in Barcelona.
