New high volume dove shooting lodge in quiet rural area north of Cordoba

Santiago del Estero Lodge, located in the northern province of the same name, is a new frontier in dove and pigeon shooting. In a relaxed, rural area where the local folks are happy to make your acquaintance and the pace of life is still tied to the land the doves and pigeons can at times literally darken the sky. Here you will stay in a newly renovated historic house, a Spanish-styled mansion with sprawling courtyards, which lends rural elegance to the exciting shooting in the surrounding areas.

Shooting

Santiago del Estero as a province is very unique in terms of hunting rights. The province is divided into zones and then zones are allocated to outfitters. Santiago del Estero Lodge has been allocated with a large and very productive hunting zone, providing absolute exclusivity and privacy.

Accommodation

Ideal for groups up to 14-17 guests, the lodge offers 14 private rooms, each with a King size bed. All rooms offer air-conditioning, heating, and room safes. Amenities include private billiards room, an outdoor heated plunge pool, gym and massage room, a central fire pit, wine cellar and TV room.

Gear

At the lodge, you can rent guns from a selection of fine over-and-under and semi-automatic shotguns. These include models from Beretta, Benelli, and Browning in various gauges. Shells are provided by the lodge and can be paid for onsite.

Trip Specifics

To get to Santiago del Estero Lodge there are daily direct flights from many European cities to Buenos Aires (Ezeiza Intl. Airport – EZE). From EZE hunters will need to make a connection to SDE airport (1.30 hr. flight) or transfer to the Domestic airport Jorge Newbery – AEP (40’ to 1 hr drive), and connect there to SDE. The Lodge is located in the south of the province of Santiago del Estero, 150 miles (250 km) southeast of Santiago del Estero airport (SDE). Driving time to the lodge is 3 hours by paved roads. It is also possible to fly to Cordoba Airport, driving time is around 4h 30m.

Rates

Rates are from $850 per person per night on a full board basis. Hunting licences are $70 per person per day and gun hire is $115 per person per day. Airfares, shells and gratuities are not included.
