The estates encompass over 65,000 acres and include many of the most well-known shoots in Scotland. Against a backdrop of stunning fall scenery, it is hard to imagine a more picturesque setting. The incredible field organization on the ground is coordinated by Wilson Young, Sr. and son, Wilson, Jr.
The luxurious 8-bedroom Lylestane is now the best private accommodation in the region for groups! For a singles or smaller parties, Frontiers can also offer accommodations at the elegant Roxburghe Hotel; or for more modest lodging, at Burt’s Hotel in the charming town of Melrose.
Neutral colored European-style shooting attire is required along with appropriate eye and ear protection. Guns must be side-by-side or over/under doubles. Rental guns are available. Knee-high ‘Wellington” boots are suggested in the field. Evening wear is generally semi-formal.

Exceptional driven partridge shoots begin in September. From mid-October-January, they present high-flying pheasants in combination with the partridges. Rates vary according to the number of guns in the line, number of birds contracted and which accommodations are selected.
