Fishing for steelhead is ideal for those of us used to fishing for salmon with double handed rods. Although we might have to modify our techniques slightly steelhead fishing is familiar enough to know we will enjoy it but different enough to offer the feeling of a bit of an adventure in a beautiful environment chasing one of the hardest fighting freshwater fish on the planet.
