Some prime dates for steelhead at Bear Claw Lodge on Kispiox, Canada

Bear Claw Lodge is owned and run by the Allen family, one of the famous Kispiox river families who have lived and guided on the river for as long as anyone can remember!

The Kispiox river is a tributary of the Skeena and is the main target for guests of Bear Claw Lodge. It is famous for a healthy run of big steelhead which is why space at the lodge is so popular. But in July, there is a run of Kings and then Silvers which the guides target too for family visits.

They have the following space:

1st to 8th September - 7 rods
15th to 22nd September - 6 rods
13th to 20th October - 6 rods
20th to 27th October - 6 rods
27th October to 3rd November - 5 rods

$9,400 USD/person/week (based on dbl occupancy)- all inclusive.
