Situated in the high mountain aspens, Three Forks Ranch Lodge and Spa straddles the Wyoming/Colorado border. This 200,000-acre working cattle ranch has become one of the premier fishing destinations in the West. Opened in 2008, this ranch is the crown jewel of this outdoor paradise. After a fun-filled day of recreation, enjoy a refreshing massage, sip your favorite drink at the Middle Fork Lounge, and satisfy your palate with five-star dining. Personalized service, warm hospitality, great fishing, and a plethora of other activities are the trademarks of this remarkable destination.
Through the largest privately funded restoration project in the history of America, new life has been given to the Little Snake and its headwaters. 16-miles of the river, connected oxbow lakes, and tributaries have been restored to provide very private and incredible walk-and-wade trout fishing.
Accommodating 30 guests, this magnificent lodge boasts 11 deluxe rooms and four unique private suites. All offer Wi-Fi, private phone line, flat-screen TV, stocked mini-bar, and French doors that lead to a private patio for enjoying sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing.
We will provide a thorough list of what to pack. The Lodge also hosts a fly shop on-site and can provide gear. We like a 5-weight rod with floating line. Be sure to bring quality raingear, polarized sunglasses, waders, and a hat for sun protection. Dress in layers!
The Lodge typically operates on a 6-night/5-day program with arrival on Saturday, five full days of guided fly fishing Sunday through Thursday, and departure the following Friday. Shorter packages are available. You access the Ranch from the airport in Hayden, CO with complimentary shuttles (90-minute drive). Three Forks is ideal for nonfishers featuring a lovely spa, pool, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, 4-wheeling, wildlife scenic tours, and a championship sporting clays course. There is even skiing in the winter!
