Tiger fish have always been a species that are popular with people visiting various areas of Southern Africa, such as the lower and upper Zambezi. However, over the last couple of decades their popularity as a quarry grown immensity as fishers have realised how aggressively they take a fly and also how many different countries they can be caught in.
The combination of casting a fly for an aggressive predator while watching elephants and other members of the big five is always going to be attractive. However, when you consider that every type of accommodation is available from simple but comfortable bush camps to luxury game lodges this is a ideal type of trip for fishers and non-fishers and also for multi-generational family holidays.
We offer tiger fishing trips to Tanzania, Zambia on both the upper and lower Zambezi and South Africa. These can be combined with salt-water fishing in the Seychelles, Mozambique amongst others.
