Turneffe Flats is known as one of the world’s top flats fishing and diving resorts for close to four decades. Turneffe Flats is 25 miles east of the mainland of Belize, ideally located to enjoy the Atoll’s 250 square miles of flats, coral reefs and rich marine life. Belize is a two and half hour flight from several U.S. gateway cities (Miami, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta and Denver). Turneffe Flats Lodge is a 90-minute boat ride from the mainland to the island. On arrival day, guests need to arrive in Belize City no later than 3 p.m. local Belize time; on departure day, guests need to book their international flights no earlier than 11:30 a.m. local Belize time. U.S. citizens require a passport that is valid for six months after the last day of the trip. Residents of other countries should check with their consulate for entry requirements.
