The Grimsa, Iceland
Grimsa remains very popular with American and English fishermen alike. It has a gentle character flowing through a wide, sloping valley of rough pasture land providing easily accessible pools along the way. Its tributary, the Tungua, is a typical rocky stream, providing a nice contrast to the main river. With 66 pools over 32 km, the Grimsa is perfect for single-handed rods and the riffle hitch method.
