Experience Terrific Shooting Adventures in Southern Spain Near Seville

Ventas Quemadas is a new addition to the Frontiers family of European shooting estates. The sister Estate to Ventosilla is located in the South of Spain outside of Seville. A recently renovated former casino built in the 1860s boasts 4500 hectares of beautiful Spanish countryside. The Estate offers numerous drives enabling guests to experience challenging partridge drives complemented with comfortable accommodations (9 bedrooms) and terrific Spanish cuisine. As a bonus, hunts for Red Stag, Fallow Deer, Mouflon, and Boar are offered on the property if you want to extend your stay.

Shooting

A typical shooting day has four to five drives broken up with a break for tapas and a memorable lunch. Each drive will last about 30 minutes with plenty of action across the line. This estate can offer some good high challenging birds or some more classical Spanish-style shooting.

Accommodation

Ventas Quemadas boasts 9 modern-luxury double suites with ensuite bathrooms. Perfect for smaller lines with 6 – 8 shooters. The Estate is decorated with contemporary figurative photography and Red Stag mounts taken from the property.

Gear

Neutral colored shooting attire is required along with appropriate eye and ear protection. Quality footwear is suggested in the field. Evening wear is generally semi-formal. The estancia can provide the use of Over/Under or Side by Side shotguns in either 20 or 12 bores.

Trip Specifics

Guests have the option of flying into Madrid where a Frontiers-arranged guide will transfer you to the high-speed train station for an easy 2.5-hour ride to Sevilla. Upon arrival in Sevilla, a representative from the estate will transfer you roughly 45 minutes to the Estate. Or you may fly directly to Sevilla where lodge staff will meet you and transfer you to the Estate. On arrival, you will spend the rest of that afternoon getting settled. In the evening, enjoy cocktails before dinner. The day's shooting commences after breakfast, with guests returning to the lodge at the end of the day.

Rates

Driven partridge shoots begin in early October and conclude in late February. Frontiers can organize days for private lines or individual guns. Price for a 2-day shoot: $10,260 per gun based on 500 birds per day to a line of 8 guns per the current rate of exchange.
