The Pacific Coast of Guatemala is quite possibly the world's best destination for Pacific Sailfish. Marlin, Tuna, Dorado, and a variety of other species can also be found here year-round.

Guatemala offers some of the most remarkable fly fishing on the planet. Casa Vieja Lodge has some of the most spectacular opportunities to target billfish that you can imagine, with almost absurd numbers of Pacific sailfish and baby blue marlin (up to 50+ in a day) coming to the boat. Seeing a billfish of 8ft and more exploding on your fly at close quarters is one of the most exhilarating experiences you can have with a fly rod.
