Hoodoo Sportfishing Lodge

Located on the extreme northwest tip of the Alaska Peninsula near Nelson Lagoon

The Alaska Peninsula is primal and the land unspoiled with broad mountain ranges spilling out in all directions. Active volcanoes lead to broad valleys full of wildlife and crystal clear waters. Glaciers carved both the fjords and the lakes that lie inland. The locals call the river and the lake “Hoodoo”. The river flows 35 miles from the lake into the Bering Sea. The Hoodoo Lodge sits approximately 10 miles from the ocean. The river boasts incredible fishing for ocean bright chinook, sockeye and coho salmon. These hard-fishing fresh salmon will challenge any angler, seasoned or novice.

Fishing

Located just 10 miles from tidewater, the lodge boasts incredible fishing for ocean bright chinook, sockeye, coho, trout and dollies. These are not lazy, spawning fish at the end of their cycle. These are hard-fighting fish that will challenge any angler. September steelhead is also featured.
