Skyfall Reserve is North Texas’s premiere waterfowl hunting location. More than a waterfowl outfitter, they offer top-tier wing shooting, outdoor sporting adventures, hospitality, gourmet food, and luxurious lodging. They are known for a variety of hunts from waterfowl, dove, whitetail deer, and night hog hunting with thermal/night vision equipment. They also have multiple ranges for rifle, handgun, carbine, and shotgun shooting enthusiasts with professional instruction conducted by U.S. special forces personnel. All these activities are available exclusively to your group.

Shooting

Waterfowl hunting will include a morning and/or afternoon session in flooded timber, private lakes, grain fields, or various wetlands. Mallards, Green and Blue-Winged Teal, Pintail, Wigeon, Gadwall, and Woodies are the main targets. Hunts are typically done from custom built shore blinds.

Accommodation

Six single and one double occupancy rooms accommodate your private group of up to eight in a beautifully appointed lodge. Gourmet meals are designed by Chef Gavino Vasquez and prepared by their talented and friendly staff.

Gear

The lodge has premium firearms available to use for whatever your preferred pursuit is, as well as waders/hip boots and other equipment needed for a successful hunt (with advance notice at booking). Eye and ear protection, binoculars, camera, and slippers/lodge shoes, are recommended.

Trip Specifics

Skyfall Reserve is located near Trinidad, Texas, just 90 miles southeast of Dallas. Most guests fly into DFW and rent transportation for the short drive to the ranch. Love Field (DAL) is another option and shuttle service can also be arranged with advanced notice. Hunters will need a valid Texas hunting license depending on what game will be hunted. Enjoy gathering around the fire pit at dusk with appetizers & cocktails, watching numerous ducks coming to roost, relaxing in the cozy lodge, or playing corn hole with friends.

Rates

Adventures are all-inclusive and guests can engage in any seasonally available activities including: waterfowl, deer, dove, and/or hog hunting; shooting ranges (rifle, pistol, carbine, shotgun) with special forces instructors. $26,000 for a party of six (licenses and gratuities not included).
